On 14/11/2022, the Career Development Center at Zakho University held an online meeting on Youth Empowerment Program “KOREKPreneurs”

The project is organized by Iraq preneurs in coordination with GIZ, World Bank, Innovest Me and financial support of KOREK Telecom to support youth.

The meeting began with the presence of Mr. Ahmed Loqman Alyousify, as the coordinator of the Creer Development Center in the Faculty of Science in Zakho University and Mr. Rebaz as the Director of Public Relations in Iraq Preneurs (Rawad Al-Iraq).

At the beginning of his speech, Mr. Rebaz pointed out that the application process for the Youth Empowerment Program "KOREKPreneurs" is very easy, and the process for the application to the participants was explained in the meeting.

Some of the significant benefits that Iraq Preneurs has delivered to innovators and small companies are as follows:

• Supporting more than 800 start-ups in correcting and improving their project ideas.
• There are more than 900 active members who support human development and human thought.
• More than 1,000 job opportunities were created.

In his speech, Mr. Rebaz mentioned the experiences of some successful inventors who received the support of Iraq Preneurs. It is currently one of the most successful projects in Iraq.

Fortunately, students of Zakho University can also submit their projects and ideas and enter the competition.
